When the idea of starting your own business first passed to you, I am guessing a certain position of despair hit the bubble. I am sure the study of moving forward came commodity you allowed about and perhaps, for some of you, those studies delayed the launch.
But over time, your desire to be your own master crushed the despair and you took the plunge.
And then you are.
You're the master.
And, it's a little scary is not it?
It clearly has its advantages. You can pick up the children from academy. You no longer need to get sick leave and set your own hours.
Although.
Although you get to set your own hours, you noway really switch off. The traditional 9 to 5 that forced you to be your own master has ever given way to a more rigorous24/7.
Well, you get sick without persuading anyone that you are unfit to go to work but now, when you are sick, you presumably will not get paid.
And yes, you get the option to spend further time with the kiddies but at what cost?
Minding your own business 24 hours a day, where is the escape? Indeed commodity as simple as watching television loses its appeal. Sure, you are fixing your aspect on the screen but your mind is not engaging with the content like it used to. You have worked on your mind and everything differently, whether we want to admit it or not, is a distraction.
Being your own master is lonely. You may be girdled by staff and have a loving mate and children at home who adore you, but it's still lonely.
Being your own master has a pressure you noway knew was. It makes you suppose of all the heads you did not watch important for. It takes you back to those moments when you allowed your master could have handled a situation more and you begin to sympathize kindly .
You start putting yourself in their shoes. What kind of pressure was your former master under? You feel a little shamed that you noway allowed to ask them. You were noway there for them.
Just like no bone is really there for you. Not really.
I suppose moment's post is about me. I've no advice to give.
The government wants us to start small businesses and employ people, but as soon as we do, they turn against us. Everyone has rights but not us.
occasionally we make stupid opinions. Like hiring musketeers or family. We feel the need to compass ourselves with people we can trust but fail to keep in mind that when we do, we end up destroying connections and losing ourselves. Far more lonely.
I am sure there are times when hiring family or musketeers works for someone, but I am guessing it does not be frequently because there is a notorious saying that advises against doing effects like that. Is.
So if you are smart, avoid these risks and make this notorious White Snake song your particular hymn.
Being your own master is awful, but it's also a lonely road you walk alone.
It does not have to be this way however; The government can make it easier for us. Sure they offer business advice enterprise but they're all geared towards growing your business which in turn adds further pressure and serves to further insulate you from the world.
perhaps the government could do further to help us job generators? perhaps they could, I do not know, set aside a many hours a month for free comforting? Give us a safe terrain where we can talk about our problems without fussing about anyone?
You see that is the real problem I've as a business proprietor that you can really, really trust?
still, who can you really partake that information with? your musketeers? It can lead to lawless covetousness and fluently lead to boasting, If business is going well. Your staff? Well, it might just make them greedy. Your loving mate? perhaps, but is it enough?
And what about the times when effects are not going so well? Who are you talking to also? You do not want to burden your loved bones with it and you clearly can not talk about it with your staff because it's frequently not the cause of your insomniac nights in the grand scheme of effects. There's a shock and every shock is to be participated. Will produce anxiety in your pool.
The fact is, you chose to be your own master. As a master you're a general. It's your job to keep certain effects to yourself unless they absolutely need to be vented.
But it's still hard.
Wednesdays have always been hard for me for one reason or another (this was posted on a Wednesday) I call them wobble Wednesdays. This is the only day of the week where I allow dark thoughts. I do all my panicking on Wednesdays, the logic behind it being that I can analyze any blips and see if there's anything that has the potential to become something more important than I do before the pay wins. Give yourself time to find a solution.
I'll be honest, today's blip isn't work related, well, not at all. Due to work will not have to attend a family function this coming Friday. A family member is reaching a special milestone this Friday, a big occasion, a gathering if you will, and I won't be there because my business requires me to be elsewhere.
Let's just say the news of my impending absence did not go down well.
The funny thing is, if I hadn't been my boss and informed them that my employer had forced me to miss a function due to my late shift, my absence would have been accepted. Heck, I would have gotten some sympathy from him, but as my family knows I'm my own boss and the most famous "perk" of being your own boss is that you get to choose your own hours, well, Let's just say I don't understand anything, let alone sympathy.
